ABOUT THIS COFFEE
The certified organic Anfilloo Highlands coffee contributes to a rich ecosystem. Its production plots are situated deep in the heart of a dense and ancient forest of endemic trees, some of which are rare in the country. And its coffee trees contribute to a remarkable agroforestry model.
The environment produces cups of a spicy nature (honey, cocoa) rounded out with floral notes (jasmine). We are hoping that recognition of this coffee will help secure the environment’s long-term future.
It is a requirement that is important to us and is supported by our “Forest Coffees” brand. Our teams at the Ethiopia agency are working with the men and women living in the terroir to ensure this continues.
